Social Distancing Teacher-to-Student Support

Help me give my students the opportunity to hear and listen to my voice while social distancing and wearing masks in the classroom, using additional resources to help provide safe and positive student engagement for diverse learners.

My Students

My students are S.M.A.R.T.! We encourage our students to believe they are studious, motivated, ambitious, responsible and talented. They are a group of students who are resilient, polite conversations starters with inquiring how to learn more about the people and experiences in their school.

My Project

At our school we want to keep our students safe by social distancing, washing our hands, using sanitizer, and wearing our masks daily. However while in the classroom this can make it somewhat difficult for teaching, as students have a hard time hearing or understanding informtion. My project helps to amplify my voice while moving in the classroom, and encouraging student engagement safely. It is important that all students hear my voice, and it is important that they stay connected during the lesson, with manipulatives and activities as part of the classroom community.
