Social Distancing Physical Activity

Help me give my students equipment that they can use for individualized activities while still social distancing.

My Students

My students come from all around the world. At our school, our students speak more than ten languages. Many students of ours have just arrived from the country or are translators for teachers because their parents do not speak English.

My students do not have the same opportunities as most students in the school district.

Eighty-five percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Their families do not have much money. It is my job to provide them with the education to make good choices about healthy eating habits, exercise, and play!

My Project

Still not knowing 100% what Physical Education will look like in September, I need to find equipment that students can use by themselves or in small groups. I can manipulate the material in this project to help create fun & activity activities. It will also help create activities around nutrition, bones and muscles as well.

These materials are going to help create a community based learning in Physical Education.

With many of these materials asked in this project, students will be able to work in groups while still remaining social distanced in the gym. Or these materials can be used individually in their own bubbles. These materials will give my students many options of learning.
