This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are enthusiastic kindergarten students that love reading! My students attend a Title I school that has a vast mix of students from different cultures and students that speak different languages. We are a STEM magnet school, which means we infuse science and technology into our everyday learning and teaching.
Strengthening and enriching reading is one of our top priorities at our magnet elementary school.
We have interactive reading activities throughout the school year that involves the students, teachers, parents, and community partners.
My Project
Our school district and county are having COVID-19 cases rising drastically and we are preparing for our students to social distance while they are in the classroom. To help prevent the spread of germs, I am hoping to get all my students their own supplies so they can be successful. If we need to go the distance learning route, these items can go home with them so they are still able to complete their assignments and continue to learn.
My students need individual school supplies to help them work and learn this school year!
