My Students

All of my students have been working and stuck at home since March 13. Nobody expected school buildings would be closed that Monday. Ever since then, my kiddos have been trying their best to complete their daily assignments. Some work from the kitchen table. Some from their bed because that is the only quiet and private space they have at home. Some share devices with their siblings and cousins because they share a household.

My kiddos strive to do well, even at home, without the structure and support they get at school.

When assignments are returned, they revise and correct, then resubmit them for feedback.

My Project

Social distancing... that's the current situation for all of us. My kiddos are stuck at home and probably have not left their home since we've been out of school. Most are stuck at home with their siblings, who can annoy them. Or they are stuck to their screens the whole day.

These board games, books, and pens will give my kiddos the time off from the screen and learn to socialize with those at home.

Along with socialization, they will learn etiquette and following rules while playing the game. Some can even become imaginative and create their own version of the game, coming up with their set of rules - keeping it fair. This can also help improve the relationships between the siblings and with the parents because they're spending time with each other.
