This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing first graders in a dual immersion school. I have both high and low performing students, some even receive additional support academically throughout the week. But, they are all very eager to learn, ready to ask questions every day. It is very positive to see how excited my students are to learn.

These little scholars have a love for school, reading, and learning.

They amaze me every day in class with their questions, behavior, and classwork. I am more than happy to be their teacher this school year.

My Project

These supplies will help create the best environment possible when social distancing. Students are returning to class, but not the way it was before, we must follow guidelines in order to be safe.

These supplies will help me be able to keep my students safe, the dividers will allow students to focus on their work and have an additional separation barrier.

The individualized hand sanitizer will be to diminish the amount of movement in the classroom and to diminish any cross contamination, also the pencil sharpener will aid in that since it is automatic and students will only have to touch their pencil and not the sharpener. And lastly, the sit dots will help students visualize their distance when they are in line in the classroom.
