Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title One school and most of our students eat both their breakfast and lunch for free here at school. It is always nice to be able to provide them with everything they need and more!

My babies are rockstars in my classroom, we all can do everything we set our minds to do!

I teach kindergarten and these kids come in eager to learn. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. As their teacher, I find that it is my job to give them all the tools to be successful!

My Project

We have all been waiting to see what will happen with our education for the next school year. I would love to go back to my classroom but just like everyone else, my concern is how to keep everyone safe and at a decent distance. My classroom is set up right now for small group instruction and designed to share common areas and materials.

My goal is to be able to teach whole group with adequate distance between the students and also keep my busy and wiggle babies on their seats for long period of times.

With this new tables my students will be able to seat apart from each other and store all their materials in the storage below. And with the ball chairs they'll be able to wiggle and squirm but stay focused on their teacher and learn as much as possible in our crazy COVID circumstances.
