This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Social communication skills refer to the ability to effectively convey and interpret information in social interactions. These skills encompass verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as understanding social cues.
To enhance the social communication skills of our students with special needs, we are seeking support for new materials and toys specifically designed to encourage language, participate in conversations and learn how to appropriately engage/interact with peers.
These materials aim to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment, fostering improved communication, social interaction, and overall development for students facing unique challenges. Your assistance in providing these resources will contribute significantly to the growth and well-being of these students. These materials will be used with students in various grades with multiple disorders (Autism, ADHD, Communication Impaired, Behavioral Disorders, Specific Learning Disabled, etc.). Please help make a difference in our students' lives!
