My Project

A grant providing Julia Cook’s social-emotional books would greatly benefit a kindergarten classroom by supporting students’ emotional growth and behavior management in an age-appropriate, engaging way.

Julia Cook’s stories teach essential skills like empathy, self-regulation, and conflict resolution through relatable characters and simple language young children understand.

These books promote classroom harmony, reduce disruptions, and help children express their feelings in healthy ways. Early exposure to social-emotional learning builds a strong foundation for future academic and personal success. Integrating these books into daily lessons would enhance the classroom environment and give children valuable tools for navigating their emotions and relationships.
