Soccer Panthers Team

My students need Soccer balls and shin guards along with backpack"s, to keep practice clothes and equipment with them when they travel to compete against other schools. They need to wash their practice jerseys etc.

My Students

My student's demographics are comprised of severe socioeconomically disadvantaged situations. 100 percent of them receive free breakfast and lunch. Our population is divided into two groups: Emotionally Disturbed and Autistic. My kids love sports, and both of our populations are capable of performing on a competitive platform. They are eager to learn new sports. My students need to learn sportsmanship through behavior, and to learn through diverse means and modalities, such as competitive sports and practice, and intramural competition. Competition is known to build social and emotional health.

My Project

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement through competitive sport. Soccer stimulates the brain and gets them excited about coming to school. Many of our students value Soccer as the predominant sport in their culture. By giving to our project you will assist us in embracing Soccer and the family values this sport instills in those that play. By enriching the opportunities for our students through sport offerings; this gets the student population to invest in themselves and learn how to work cooperatively and as one.
