Soccer Is Life! After-School Soccer Club

Help me give my students four soccer balls, nets, and pinnies to start our first soccer club.

My Project

For my English Language Learners, soccer is life! As an incentive to attend school and get involved in school activities, students will be invited to join an after-school soccer club.

Many ELL students do not join school clubs and other activities due to the language barrier, and also feeling like an outsider at times.

This club will be sponsored by teachers, but run and organized by the students. They will be able to feel like leaders and participants in their own school.

With the purchase of goals, pinnies, and balls, students will not have to worry about purchasing anything in order to participate. They just have to show up to school!
