Soccer in Robotics!

Help me give my students soccer materials for their upcoming soccer unit in Robotics.

My Project

My students are intelligent, creative, and competitive! Through our robotics program, they are learning the value of teamwork, cooperation, and competition while participating in classroom challenges. My students also love soccer!

My students will be learning programming and engineering concepts through a soccer unit this year.

We have several different classroom robots we will use to compare soccer "skills" with; Sphero, LEGO, Edison, and more. We will learn about past and present soccer stars, their on pitch philosophies, teamwork and collaboration styles, and how those contribute to a successful team environment. We'll arrange ourselves in teams and "play" soccer in the classroom (we'll even wear pinnies!) to determine the Robotics Soccer Champion through a class tournament bracket. We'll use a variety of whiteboard markers to create and edit our brackets.
