This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students at my school love learning and having fun. They especially enjoy being outdoors and interacting with their peers.
Team sports and athletics are essential components of a community school.
We are currently developing an after soccer program for both boys and girls.
Students who exercise regularly and build comradery with their peers perform better in school. Unfortunately, many of our students do not have the means to participate in sports outside of school. Having a well-developed soccer program will be transformative for the students who participate. Having the proper equipment will be essential to the success of our program.
