This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This spring we are offering soccer afterschool for our students! Soccer is easily our most popular sport and beloved by everyone here. With the large amount of student participation, we are finding ourselves without enough equipment to make the most out of the afterschool experience! If we had more soccer balls, pinnies, and cones, we could ensure every student gets more time on the field, playing, learning and growing as student athletes. When students decide to join afterschool activities, they are becoming more involved members of our school community, while working on skills that will serve them well throughout their life (i.e. teamwork, patience, communication)! Thank you for your consideration of donating to our students!
