My Project
My students are enthralled with the sport of soccer. They spend more time talking about it than anything else throughout the day. In my classroom, the enthusiasm for soccer is palpable. From spirited discussions about the latest match to animated debates over who is the greatest player of all time – Messi or Ronaldo – soccer is a constant source of excitement and connection among my students. Their eyes light up with passion whenever the topic of soccer arises, making it clear that this shared interest can be a powerful tool for learning.
I believe that fostering this passion for soccer through literature can not only deepen their understanding of the sport but also encourage a love for reading.
Through this project I am requesting your support in providing our eager students with a collection of books centered around soccer. By introducing books about their beloved players like Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar, the competitions like the World Cup, and fictional stories simply featuring the sport, we have the opportunity to seamlessly integrate their enthusiasm for soccer with literacy development.
