This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The magic of the classroom setting can set the tone for a new school year.
I would like my students to feel welcomed and more empowered when they walk into my classroom.
Our school theme is Soaring to New Heights and I would love to extend that idea to out of this world! Bordettes, sparkly letters, and positive posters will surely spark wonder. A guide to social-emotional lessons will also lead to emotional intelligence greatly needed today. Truly embrace and celebrate the idea of imagination, and anything I set my mind to can be achieved.
On the other hand, my students would also benefit from using stylus pens to solve math two-step problems on their electronic devices. The idea of being able to annotate and solve properly will reduce anxiety, and the focus will be on planning and processing the strategy instead, which will in turn, be progress and growth in the retention of the skills being learned!
