My Project

In my classroom, I work hard to create a space where every student feels welcome, valued, and celebrated. The beginning of the school year is not just about routines and relationship, it’s about building a classroom culture rooted in kindness, empathy, and equality. Read aloud books and classroom decorations will be centered around: "Soar to Your Full Potential". Pete the Cat is the best mascot to model soaring to your potential, friendships, empathy, and kindness to all.

To support this vision, I am requesting Pete the Cat theme classroom to set high expectation and Pete the Cat light filters.

This classroom set up will foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where all my students can thrive.

Pete the Cat is a character who models confidence, respect, and fairness. He reminds students to be themselves, treat others kindly, and approach life with a groovy attitude.

Our hallway and classroom theme this year will center around Pete the Cat to reinforce all these attitudes every day. With welcome post cards, labels/desk name tags, Pete the Cat Light Filters for Ceiling Lights and bulletin boards inspired by Pete, my students will have daily visual reminders of kindness, fairness, and positivity. With your support, our classroom will become a joyful and inclusive space where students not only learn academics, but also how to be kind, confident, and empathetic citizens of the world. Just like Pete the Cat, we’re keeping it groovy while soaring to our full potential!
