This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school currently houses Pre-K through 8th Grade students in a very diverse and urban setting. These students often face many challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. Technology is a great tool that can be used to help students get more involved. Currently my classroom houses 4 desktop computers for three different sections of students, and only 3 work. Some classroom laptops, in addition to these desktops would help my students excel in their mathematic fluency and skills!
My 5th grade students are eager to learn and are very motivated!
Having these laptops will help reach all of the diverse learners in my classroom. It will give the students the opportunity to jump into 21st century learning!
My Project
These HP Chromebooks will be a tremendous help in our day to day activities. It is extremely hard for my students to get to use the technology they need with only 3 working computers in the classroom. These Chromebooks will help my students do necessary work during the day since they don't always have the technology necessary at home.
My students have a passion for learning!
These Chromebooks will give them the opportunity to not only improve on math skills, but also improve on everyday technology skills. My students are well deserving and hard working students who need your help!
