My Project
I am seeking funding for a selection of engaging reading materials for my advisory class, including the Hunger Games 4-Book Hardcover Box Set and the Dune Saga 3-Book Deluxe Hardcover Boxed Set for my advanced readers. Additionally, I would like copies of I Survived The Sinking of the Titanic and Dork Diaries, which we will read together as a class. These resources will significantly enhance my students’ learning by fostering a love for reading across diverse genres, catering to various interests, and encouraging critical thinking. The interactive elements, like the scented bookmarks, will make reading a more engaging and enjoyable experience, especially for reluctant readers.
As we explore I Survived The Sinking of the Titanic and Dork Diaries, my students will have the chance to discuss important themes and relate the stories to their own experiences.
My advisory class is a vibrant group, each student bringing unique perspectives and talents. Many come from diverse backgrounds, making it essential to provide inclusive materials that reflect their experiences. By equipping them with these resources, I aim to inspire them to delve into literature and help them develop essential skills for their future.
