My Students
My students are amazing young adults who continue to need support in building up skills to prepare them for career and college. They are artistic, loyal, and fierce. They are loving and kind but struggle with bringing their dreams to reality.
Help me give my students resources to build up 21st-century skills and create opportunities to inspire them to never settle for anything less than the best.
By having the right resources for students to work on projects, event planning, community building, we can provide them opportunities to build up their leadership, communication, teamwork, and career readiness skills.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students’ learning by giving them the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills through engaging projects that they create. For example, students will answer specific prompts geared towards learning and understadning the hospitality and tourism insudtry. They will then use the drone as a creative way to produce a story, record video, create audio or voiceovers, and share with the community what they have learned. These resources will increase engagment and push my students to think critically.
Projects that allow my students to have a voice and choice with delevery will build confidence, leadership, and strong 21st century skills to be better prepared for modern careers that prize skills like collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity.
