Soar Into Summer

Help me give my students an end of year art project that will help them fly into summer.

My Project

We will read the book together and then create personalized kites. Each student will design their own kite with this kit and the sharpies. Then they will learn how to fly their kite and at the end of the unit, take the kite home to keep. Students love making connections from books. Bonus when they also get to keep their creations.

Kites would encourage my students to get outside, play, and explore the skies.I would love to be able to provide each their own kite to create and take home.
