Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in a Title I school in Miami Beach. My students are imaginative and inquisitive kids. Most of them come from underprivileged households, mostly non-English speakers. They are passionate about school, they have a great attitude towards learning.
The majority of my students come from low-income homes.
They are a group of bright and unique individuals who are eager to go back to normalcy. My main objective would be for them to be constantly encouraged to know their potentials and strive to always become better.
My Project
I am requesting essential materials to ensure that that the stidents stay healthy and clean at all times. The soap we are asking for will make handwashing a much easier task for many of my students. Band-aid are used daily. After playing outside in the yard, every boo boo does heals faster with a good band aid! The Dial LIquid Hand Soap, Bandaids, wipes will be used daily to promote a healthy classroom. Desinfecting the musical instruments is part of taking care of ourselves.
Keeping the students clean can help slow the spread of illness and reduce the number of students and teachers who fall ill.
A clean classroom will promote a sense of pride that reflects the positive values so important to a successful learning experience.
