My students need access to technology, a laptop, for math and science. We would be able to do virtual field trips, science research, science experiments, math games, math tutoring for one on one instruction and many other activities.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.
They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard working and more than any of those they are inspiring.
Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.
My Project
My students will be able to use a laptop in math and science in a unique and different way than their day to day learning.
They can do virtual field trips, math tutoring, math games, science research, science experiments, and many other mind enriching activities through the use of this new technology.
We are a Title I school with little access to such powerful technology. It will be extremely helpful to integrate some ideas into our classroom using this new technology, and I would love to see how they grow and learn as a team using tools they do not always have access to.
