This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Here at our school, our students work tirelessly despite the challenges we have faced at our campus. For the past year, we have struggled to keep our classroom organized and clean to provide a smooth learning environment for my students. Floor tiles break off every once in a while, our air purifier stopped working, and every time it rains, water falls through the ceiling ruining our library rug, classroom supplies, and small group table.
Therefore, I desperately ask you to please help us obtain a new rug, a Swiffer, a broom and dustpan, pencils, pens, hooks, pocket files, and spray glue.
Adding these items not only will improve our classroom environment but will brighten up our students and encourage them to continue working hard.
