This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine being greeted with enthusiasm, hope, bright eyes and open minds on the first day of school. Their minds are ready and willing to be filled with knowledge. Every teacher's dream, right? However, they are some weaknesses in their reading skills and resources. The school is located in a middle class neighborhood, but the funding is an issue. Many parents can not provide their children with a set of novels throughout the year along with paying for school fees, lunch, school supplies and other daily necessities. Your support will help provide the beautiful experience of exploring novels cover to cover. Allowing these curious children to explore parts of the world through the words and images created in their minds as we read aloud in class. Aside from the journey, your support will help improve their fluency, reading comprehension as well as confidence. The advantages to literacy are endless and priceless.
My Project
This project will help my students stay healthy and focused on their learning goals by preventing illnesses through the use of Clorox wipes, Lysol spray,hand sanitizing wipes, and Kleenex tissues.
Using these products will help us stay healthy and well while gives my students the skills of cleaning tables, washing hands, and more!
