This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my eyes, my swim team is filled with amazing kids. They work hard in the pool and the classroom from August to early May. However, due to limited finances at our school, we are always at a disadvantage with buying attire, uniforms, and towels. Because of this, we are hoping to purchase our team laundry detergent to keep our uniforms, swimming attire, and team towels clean and fresh after each practice session. This will allow our swimmers to leave swimming attire and towels at school, get washed daily by managers, and be ready for the next day without worrying about forgetting it at home, buying extras or washing daily at home. Some of our swimmers come from low-income homes, so helping them with having clean uniforms, team attire, and towels is a tremendous blessing.
