Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Success first begins with being prepared for class. Even before we tackle the first math problem for the day, every one of my students taste success when they have what they need in class - pencil, pen, dry erase marker and notebook.
The file folders and supplies that I am requesting helps my students build good organizational skills necessary for middle school.
I've had numerous occasions where my students would forget their notebooks or supplies at home. Then teaching time is delayed as we try to provide the resources necessary for that student to participate.
In my class, each student will have their own file folder to keep their notebook, whiteboard and additional materials in class so they have access to it daily.
More than half of students from low‑income households
