My Project

A cozy space in the classroom for students with special needs to be able to relax and reflect and self soothe. These items will provide the tools for non-verbal students to express their feelings and emotions.

The giant bean bag will provide a safe space to calm and rest.

The visual timer and communication tools will allow my non-verbal students to express themselves and how they are feeling which will help to create a positive learning environment.

I plan to use these items to as a way to provide a safe space for my students to regroup when they are feeling stressed or anxious to provide for them a positive learning environment in the classroom.
