Every Friday January-March students come to school with pajamas on ready to read and snuggle up to read. On Fridays students snuggle up with a leveled book and read to earn AR books. All of my students are on IEP and they receive free/reduced lunch. We do not let struggles set us back or get us down. Instead, we overcome obstacles and embrace challenges together. When you provide my students with pajamas you are providing them with confidence. Instead of students being embarrassed to come to school on Friday and miss Snuggle up and Read, students will come to class eager to participate and eager to earn AR points in their pajamas.
