This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a first-year special educator, I'm excited to provide my students with the classroom rug they deserve! Many of my students enjoy rolling, playing on their stomachs, and engaging in movement activities. A classroom rug would be a valuable addition to our classroom!

It would provide a clear visual boundary, helping students learn about personal space.

The rug could also serve as a designated space for group activities, circle time, reading, playing, and much more!

This investment would benefit not only my current students but also future students in the years to come.
