I have a room full of amazing, lovable, energetic, and curious Kindergarten students. While we currently enjoy floor activities, I would love to offer them a soft, cozy, safe place for them to sit, learn, and play.
There are so many benefits for Kindergarten students to have a gathering place to learn life long skills that will help them socially and academically.
My main goal of placing a carpet large enough to fit all of my students is to encourage appropriate skills that build a foundation for a lifetime. Having this area will offer my students to learn social skills, academic skills, and also give them a sense of community through reading and other group activities.
My students are like a little family and truly care for each other, and I know this would thrill them to have a safer, cozier place to love and learn.
