My Students
My students are an amazing group of 7th and 8th grade students in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We are always looking for ways to give our students real world experiences that can help excite them to stay active movers and give them positive social interactions with their peers. We have 950 students that we want to encourage to get outside during our cold Wisconsin winter! Please consider donating to our snowshoes so we can continue to provide physical activity opportunities to make our students lifelong movers!
My Project
Snowshoeing is a great way to stay active during the cold winter months. I am looking forward to bringing this experience to my students and watching them experience physical activity in a setting that they haven't been given before.
We will snowshoe in our physical education classes for physical activity, but also for social enjoyment.
This will greatly benefit our students with their social emotional health. We will also be getting our students outside and into fresh air which will stimulant their learning.
We will allow our students and families to check out the snowshoes on the weekend. Snowshoeing is a lifetime activity that they can bring back to their families and continue to share their knowledge and passion for physical activity.
