Sneeze Guards for a Safe Learning Environment!

My Students

Students in my classroom are military dependents and local residents of a large town in Hawaii. Our school is a Title I school which means we have a high percentage of students from low-income families. Furthermore, our school has a transient population due to the students with parents in the military.

My students are fun-loving, preschool-aged, special education students.

Students have different disabilities such as autism, speech delays, and developmental delays, but they are eager, bright and love to learn about everything! I hope to make their first experiences in school fun and engaging!

My Project

My students are scheduled to return on August 4th. In preparation for in person learning, I would like to provide sneeze guards to use between students and teachers during 1:1 or small group instruction. In the preschool special education classroom there may me times we need to be closer than 6 feet of distance for learning.

Sneeze guards will help protect both teachers and students as we learn together in the classroom!

It will be a new normal in the classroom when students return and I hope to be as safe as possible while providing an engaging learning environment for my awesome students!
