This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My 3rd grade students are a group of excited, and ambitious scholars in a Title I school. Each one of my scholars is walking a journey of learning, and sometimes it is difficult for them to walk this journey. My scholars love to learn new skills that they see fit, that will open their horizons to possibilities for their future. Curiosity and motivation are not there-- yet. I am hoping with resources and exciting manipulatives from DonorsChoose, my scholars will take testing more seriously.
My Project
During these uncertain times, we are faced with coming up with ways to keep our students safe and healthy. These sneeze guards will help me do just that. These sneeze guards will bring some ease of mind to my students, parents and myself. In addition to protecting food and people, sneeze guards offer a smooth surface that’s easy to wash and sanitize. They can also provide peace of mind to parents who are worried about their children's health and have no option but to send them home. These sneeze guards will help when having to hold small groups and interventions
