My Project
Sometimes children are less likely to perform well on school work if they are hungry. A few years ago I noticed that some children lacked resources for snacks. I began to purchase food out of my pocket. This is a costly but benevolent deed. Having snacks for the children boosts their energy and keeps them going throughout the school day.
My students are very grateful when I provide them snacks.
I can see their faces light up with delight. It makes a huge difference for them when their hunger is satiated.
