it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my 6th-grade students two cameras to capture school memories and enhance their learning through creative digital projects! These cameras will empower students to document school events for the yearbook, create multimedia projects, and digitize their work in meaningful ways.
These cameras will give students hands-on experience with photography, storytelling, and digital creation.
Students are currently not involved with the yearbook, but with these cameras, students can take ownership of capturing special moments. They will also use them to document science experiments, create visual storytelling projects, enhance digital media projects, and preserve hands-on classroom work. As a Title I school, 89% of our students are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and 33% are English learners, making access to high-quality technology even more meaningful.
My goal is to give students the tools to express themselves, take pride in their learning, and build valuable skills for the future.
