Snap, Code, Build: Let STEM Begin!

Help me give my students hands-on STEM tools like Snap Circuits, Ozobots, and KEVA planks to explore, build, and code—bringing science and engineering concepts to life through engaging, collaborative learning experiences.

My Project

My students are full of energy, creativity, and a love for learning. They come to school ready to explore, and they learn best when they can build, touch, and try things out for themselves.

This project includes Snap Circuits, which will help students understand how electricity flows through hands-on experimentation.

Ozobots will introduce coding in a fun, visual way that supports early computer science skills. KEVA planks will challenge students to think like engineers—designing, building, and testing their ideas. STEM challenge cards will guide students through problem-solving tasks that promote collaboration and creativity.

We’ll store and organize all of these materials in the hand2mind Makerspace & STEM Lab Classroom Cart. It’s fully mobile, so we can roll it to learning centers or small groups across the room. Since it’s empty and customizable, we’ll personalize the bins and drawers to fit our tools perfectly. This cart will help students take ownership of the materials, stay organized, and make transitions smoother during STEM time.

My goal is to create a space where students can explore, take risks, and grow confident in their thinking—just like real scientists and engineers. What makes my students special is their excitement to learn, their creative ideas, and the way they support one another every day.
