My Project

I have about 180 students in 4th and 5th grade, where students are working on electrical circuits science standards. Every year it is my favorite area of science to teach and give students time to successfully understand a circuit and be able to recreate with multiple restrictions all the way down to lighting the bulb with only one wire and one battery.

It is amazing to see learning LIGHT up in their eyes.

The struggle that kids have to be able to make multiple mistakes in this type of learning is very humbling. This science shows their resilience to try after failure and come up with successful ways to complete a circuit.
