My students are sixth-eighth graders. The school is in a high-needs inner-city neighborhood. The students are very interested in learning new things but the school has very limited resources. It is very frustrating having students who love to learn but do not have materials or experiences to support that desire.
I enjoy motivating and inspiring my students to be their best, so understanding and appreciating the value of education is very critical.
They deserve to have educational experiences and resources that support the high goals that they work towards every day. That's why it is so frustrating that all of the budget cuts made by the big decision makers seem to directly impact my students.
I am doing my best to try to bring positive, meaningful learning opportunities to my classroom, and I strive to make it a place that my students love to enter every day.
My students attend school in a low-income, high-needs area. There have been multiple budget cuts that directly impact my students. I am always seeking ways to provide them with the things they need in order to be successful. Sometimes those things can be as simple as a special treat such as the items I am requesting in this proposal.
My students love receiving special treats as a sign of a job well done.
They do require a lot of motivation and encouragement, which I love to do. It is my pleasure to be here for them and to always expect their best. It is just very helpful at times when I am able to reward them with a special treat to acknowledge a job well done. These treats will also be used as an incentive to encourage them to do their best if they may be having a bad day, or if they need an extra push to make them want to do their very best work.
