Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We all know that research has proved that when kids have food in their bellies, they learn and attend better in school.
There are always students who need a little extra food to get them through the weekend.
By having healthy snacks available, I can assure that students will have at least a little bit of nourishment in the morning if they haven't eaten, or at the end of the day in case food supply is low at home. My goal for this project is to have snacks available for any student in my classroom who needs one. My students are extra special because they are eager, second language learners who deserve a great education we can provide for them at my school!
