This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Snacks for kids in school provide a crucial source of energy to maintain focus and concentration throughout the day, preventing hunger pangs that can disrupt learning, while also offering nutrients to support their growth and development; essentially, they help bridge the gap between meals and keep children fueled for optimal cognitive function.
When children leave school at the end of the day, chances are they have nothing to eat until they return the next day.
Creating a non refrigerated snack pack will help to sustain them until they return to school the next day for breakfast.
Each student will receive a pouch of Capri Sun, a bag of pirate’s booty, or Goldfish crackers, a pack of Biscoff biscuits and a lollipop treat all placed in a gallon ziplock bag.
