My students are five to six year olds who come to school every day with smiles on their faces, eager to learn.
I am a first-year teacher, teaching full-day kindergarten to twenty-three students. Most of my students are English language learners who come from low-income homes. At our school, one hundred percent of the student population receives free breakfast and lunch. Overall, my students are caring, enjoy hands-on experiences, and enjoy learning new things every day. As their teacher, I enjoy teaching them every single day.
My Project
As a teacher, I strive to teach my students about diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion. It is very important to reward students who are promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion. A way of rewarding my students is through snacks, including Goldfish, variety pack, granola bars, cookies and juice box.
By providing my students with rewards, this will help to promote diversity within the class.
Every time I see a student promote diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion, I will reward the student with a snack. These snacks will help with promoting diversity within my classroom.
