it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every day, my students come to class eager to learn, but hunger can make it difficult for them to stay focused and engaged. Many of them face food insecurity, and by mid-morning or afternoon, their energy levels drop, making it harder to concentrate. I want to provide healthy snacks and drinks to help them stay fueled and ready to learn throughout the day.
These simple yet essential items will help my students maintain their energy and focus, ensuring they can participate fully in lessons without the distraction of hunger.
Providing snacks is more than just filling stomachs—it’s about creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. When students have access to food, they feel cared for and valued, which boosts their confidence and motivation.
