This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Miss, you got snacks" is a question I hear every single day in school. Many students ask this same question various times throughout the day. Some students do not eat breakfast. Some students do not eat school lunch. Some students have even preferred waiting to get out of school at the end of the day to eat their first meal at home.

Please help give some snacks to provide fuel to my students so they are engaged and active in their learning, instead of focusing on their hunger.

My students are 8th, 9th, and 10th graders. They are English language learners. They are special education students. They are general education students. They are all mixed making three beautiful classes of students who are sweethearts, struggling readers, caring souls, individuals who get easily distracted, jokesters, studious, students who don't understand lessons and need several explanations told in various ways before understanding, loving, a family.

Please help me quiet their hunger while they're in school.
