At SHS, I see firsthand how much better students learn when they feel cared for—and that includes having access to snacks. Many of my students come to class hungry, which makes it hard for them to focus and engage with the material. Something as simple as a handful of goldfish crackers, a granola bar, or a warm cup of ramen can make all the difference in their energy and mood. These small gestures show my students that someone cares about them, creating a more supportive and welcoming environment where they can thrive.
Whether it’s calming a grumbling stomach during a big lab experiment or giving a student a little boost during lunch, these snacks help create a space where learning feels accessible and comfortable for everyone.
Your support would mean the world to my students and me—it’s not just about feeding them; it’s about showing them they matter. Thank you for helping make my classroom a place where every student feels supported and ready to learn!
