Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students complain of hunger throughout the day. Some express their hunger first thing in the morning and others toward the end of the day. Either way, not a day passes when I don't have a student ask me for a snack.

I have noticed that my students are much more alert and energetic when they have a snack to fuel their minds and bodies.

I try my best to have something for them to munch on, but it's often hard to match supply with demand. Having a stockpile of snacks on hand would make a tremendous difference. The students will have many options to choose from, so that every one of them can have a pick of something they like. I have selected a variety of snack options such as cookies, gummies, chips, marshmallow treats, goldfish crackers, and water, to ensure that my students have snacks to fuel their learning!
