This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a second grade special education class. Many of my students don't eat dinner or breakfast, so when they arrive at school they are hungry. This can effect their ability to focus and stay of task.

We usually eat lunch at 12:30 so my students need that little something to hold the over until lunch .

Pretzels, pop tarts and cookies are a special treat for my special children.
