This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a high school which incorporates business electives to better prepare underprivileged students in Queens, NY. Often, they do not have the resources to buy extra snacks, and it is imperative to keep their attention strong during long sessions.
Focus can be achieved by rewarding them with snacks as they complete activities; nothing is too small to motivate them to work hard and complete their projects on a daily basis, with accuracy and completion.
There is one thing to finish a project, but another to have them comprehend what they are learning.
