Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have begun the second semester setting up their New Year resolutions. Most of them have decided to improve by writing neatly, increasing their reading minutes, and working on writing complete sentences.

I am excited that my students will be tracking their progress by earning snacks to reward their achievements.

We have set a goal to eat and exercise daily. In addition, a goal is to use water bottles to drink water, and use fewer plastic bottles.

Many of my first-graders can't afford snacks and this way they will earn play money when they complete assignments and achieve 80% or higher in classroom assignments to learn how to save, spend, and share like consumers.
