This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our school community is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the resources they need to thrive, both academically and emotionally. However, we have noticed that some students are unable to bring snacks to school due to financial constraints. To address this issue and promote positive behavior, we are launching a project to fill a designated snack cabinet with nutritious snacks for these students. Additionally, we aim to utilize snacks as incentives for good behavior and academic achievement.
By stocking the snack cabinet, we will ensure that all students have access to nutritious snacks throughout the school day, regardless of their financial situation.
We will use snacks as rewards for students who demonstrate good behavior, academic improvement, and other positive contributions to the school community.
With the end of the school year approaching, we also aim to acquire storage solutions to safely pack up the snack cabinet for use in the following school year. This will ensure that our efforts to support students continue seamlessly. Your generous support will make a significant difference in the lives of our students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
