My Project

In biology, I am always looking for ways to increase scholar engagement. The book Biology Made Real will help me improve my teaching strategies to increase their engagement. Additionally, throughout the year, my biology students learn about the importance of being both physically and mentally healthy. By providing snacks in my classroom, I can offer needed nutrition which can increase students' focus and mood. Nutritious snacks help lead to better overall health and healthy eating habits.

Mental health is another important factor in their ability to listen, learn, and make connections throughout the school day.

This project will also provide flexible seating in my classroom. This is a professional development strategy I would like to try in my classroom. Adding music and snacks will also help to increase scholar engagement and focus.
